10. ROBERT DOWNEY JR. And CHARLIE CHAPLIN

Robert Downey Jr. played the silent-film legend Charlie Chaplin in the 1992 biopicChaplin. From the Little Tramp mustache and bowler hat to Chaplin’s mannerisms across different life stages, Downey Jr. was a dead ringer.
He studied Chaplin’s films obsessively and even learned to play the violin left-handed like the icon. It remains one of Downey Jr.’s most impressive early dramatic roles.
